About the role
Atrium is recruiting for a Consolidations Accounting Manager to own/manage the consolidations function on behalf of a global corporation based in Atlanta, GA. This person will be responsible for managing the consolidated month-end close and financial reporting processes for the business. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, foreign currency (FX), and GAAP reporting.
Responsibilities
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes on multiple currencies, and prepare intercompany elimination entries in addition to unrealized gains on foreign currency adjustments (CTA)
- Assist with FX revaluation and impacts to the balance sheet
- Support the month-end close process in accordance with GAAP accounting protocol
- Prepare and review journal entries related to consolidations and close activities
- Perform account analyses and support balance sheet integrity during close including variance analysis
- Participate in process improvement initiative
- Utilize consolidation systems (e.g., HFM preferred) to support reporting and close
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
- Consolidation accounting experience is required
- FX experience is required
- CPA or CPA-eligible candidates are preferred
- Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) is preferred
- Public accounting experience is a plus, but corporate experience is required
