About This Role
Managing and overseeing all accounting functions for the company is the core of this role, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with international accounting standards and local regulations. This position requires a deep understanding of financial accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and solid leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the accounting team in carrying out daily tasks, including transaction recording and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare accurate financial reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards
- Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and local Indonesian tax regulations
- Oversee internal and external audit processes, resolve audit findings, and implement improvement recommendations
- Manage and optimize financial accounting processes to improve operational efficiency
- Conduct financial analysis, identify trends, and provide insights to support management decision-making
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and other accounts with high accuracy
- Coordinate with other departments and external parties regarding accounting needs and financial reporting
- Implement and maintain internal accounting policies and control procedures to maintain the integrity of financial data
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or equivalent accounting certification is preferred
- Minimum 7 years of experience in financial accounting, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership position
- Proven experience in preparing financial reports in accordance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards
- In-depth mastery of financial accounting principles, auditing, and financial reporting
- Proficient in using modern accounting software and ERP systems
- Practical knowledge of tax regulations in Indonesia
- Strong leadership skills with excellent communication and presentation skills
