Responsibilities
- Manage WIP reporting, financial performance tracking, revenue recognition, and profitability analysis
- Oversee client invoicing and ensure compliance with contractual requirements
- Manage client contracts, including billing requirements, contract terms, and company policies
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes and financial reporting
- Partner with internal teams and leadership to support financial performance and business operations
- Help improve accounting processes and reporting as the company continues to grow
Requirements
- Approximately 10 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience within engineering, architecture, consulting, legal, or construction environments involving billable project time
- Strong WIP experience
- Experience with client billing and contract requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- A collaborative mindset and solid work ethic
Nice to have:
- Leadership experience; this role is expected to eventually have direct reports
