Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting function and serve as a key business partner to senior leadership. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong accounting practices, and supporting the continued development of the organization's financial operations.

Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
- Review account reconciliations and monitor key balance sheet accounts.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to support leadership in business decision-making.
- Oversee core accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management, and other general accounting functions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal controls.
- Coordinate annual audit activities and work with external business partners as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Support ongoing accounting system enhancements and process optimization initiatives.
- Mentor and develop members of the accounting team while fostering a collaborative and accountable work environment.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Five or more years of progressive accounting experience.
- Prior experience leading or supervising an accounting team.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and the financial close process.
- Experience supporting audits and maintaining effective internal controls.
- Experience working with ERP or accounting software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes, solve problems, and adapt to changing business needs.
