Accounting Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience combining public and corporate accounting, ideally with experience at a Big Four or other top 10 accounting firm
• Corporate accounting experience, including direct involvement in month-end close activities, financial reporting, and supporting external audits
• Hands-on experience managing or coordinating international statutory audits, including working with external auditors and accounting advisors
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and familiarity with the process of converting U.S. GAAP financial information to local accounting standards
• Experience managing multiple audit workstreams, deliverables, and deadlines across different stakeholders or geographic locations
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to proactively follow up, resolve issues, and drive accountability
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where priorities shift and a hands-on approach is essential
• Demonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies, improve processes, and develop more effective ways of working
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and external partners
• Practical experience using AI or automation tools to improve efficiency in accounting, financial reporting, or related workflows, with appropriate review of outputs
• Based in the US in one of the states where 3E is authorized to hire, and eligible to work without sponsorship

Nice to have:

• Active CPA license is strongly preferred
• Experience preparing, reviewing, or coordinating U.S. GAAP-to-local GAAP reconciliations or bridge files
• Experience working in a multinational organization, ideally with exposure to European statutory reporting requirements
• Experience in a mid-sized, high-growth, SaaS, or private equity-backed organization
• Experience coordinating external accounting service providers across multiple countries
• Experience improving or automating accounting processes and workflows
