Accounting Clerk

About This Role

This accounting clerk role involves performing routine accounting functions and supporting both accounts payable and receivable processes within a dynamic dealership environment. The position suits an energetic team member with a positive mindset and high integrity, who is eager to contribute to a customer-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic and routine accounting functions
• Assist with Accounts Payable and Receivable processes
• Reconcile and prepare daily cash deposit and credit card deposit
• Update receivable ledger
• Post accounts payable invoices
• Prepare accounts payable checks
• Research and answer all receivable and vendor inquiries
• Assist in processing car deals
• Process Dealer Trades by scanning to SS and making extra copy of incoming invoice for sales
• Prepare tax and title documents
• Submit all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles
• Compile and maintain a complete list of all outstanding title work

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working in an accounting role
• Positive attitude and very outgoing personality
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multitask
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer; can stand when needed; may stand, walk, talk or hear; frequently is required to reach with hands and arms; occasionally required to sit
