Accounting Assistant / Accounting Officer

About This Role

The Accounting Assistant / Accounting Officer supports the finance team by handling payment reconciliation, e-banking preparation, and data entry. This role suits a detail-oriented individual with experience in accounting software and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Match vendor invoices to portal orders and resolve any discrepancies with vendors
• Assist in preparing and processing payments for approved payment into e-banking and maintaining accurate records of transactions
• Accurately enter payment data into the accounting system, ensuring correct coding and timely processing
• Assist with monthly account reconciliations and the month-end closing process
• Provide general duties of data input, document scanning, and filing in an efficient manner
• Outgoing for cheque bank-in
• Prepare courier and keep record
• Perform any assigned task as required

Requirements

• Form 5 or above with LCC Intermediate Certificate or above
• At least 2 years’ relevant working experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Chinese word processing
• Good command of spoken Cantonese and English
• Responsible, detail-minded, self-motivated, and willing to learn
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
• Immediate availability is preferred

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with Sage 50/A.I. Account/Xero/Quickbook
• Proven experience in tech or AI-focused startups

• Schedule: Mondays - Fridays, 10:00 - 18:00
