Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional service to clients under varying reporting frameworks across different industries and sectors
• Plan, prepare and execute financial statement audits, reviews and compilations
• Provide solutions to clients on current business and financial conditions
• Prepare various types of tax returns (personal, trust, and corporate) and respond to CRA requests for information
• Bookkeeping and investment accounting for corporations
• Contribute to building the firm's reputation as the preferred business advisors in key sectors of its growing practice

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role
• Graduate from a Post Secondary Program, preferably with a focus in accounting
• Strong commitment to excellence and attention to detail
• Proven problem solver with solid analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in leading teams of professionals on diverse engagements
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite and ability to grasp new technology tools
