Accountant

About This Role

This accounting role is a vital pillar for financial integrity within the Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR) team, providing comprehensive accounting solutions and helping businesses navigate complex compliance obligations. You will be at the forefront of advancing financial transparency, spearheading competent accounting practices, and guiding organizations to meet their regulatory commitments.

Responsibilities

• Post transactions, maintain accounting records, process and issue invoices, manage bank accounts, and prepare payroll calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations
• Conduct reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Collaborate with senior colleagues and other team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Requirements

• University degree in business, economics, accounting, finance or other related field
• Experience in an accounting position
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Lithuanian and English languages
• Attention to details and accuracy
• Experience in an international environment would be an advantage
