This Account Manager role involves advising large organizations at the executive level, requiring a deep understanding of the client's business to provide impactful solutions. Responsibilities
- Be responsible for a portfolio of large clients, representing millions of euros
- Engage with board members and risk managers to understand their objectives, challenges, and needs
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop tailored solutions that meet client requirements
- Build long-term relationships and identify opportunities for further collaboration with clients
- Determine how to serve clients and identify growth opportunities within your region, both with existing and new clients
- Create client-specific plans, conduct contract negotiations, and closely monitor financial figures
- Oversee client engagements and ensure agreed-upon services are delivered, supported by experienced colleagues for execution and specialized questions
Requirements
- HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level
- 3 to 5 years of experience in account management or a similar commercial role, with responsibility for clients and revenue
- Proficient in managing a sales process from start to finish
- Enjoy setting and achieving goals
- Seen by clients as a sparring partner who thinks along with them
- Entrepreneurial and take ownership of your portfolio
- Work well collaboratively and persuade others with substance
- Comfortable in discussions with executives as well as with operational staff
- Speak and write Dutch and English fluently
