About the role
Role Overview: The Account Executive is responsible for implementing sales strategies to grow market share by developing relationships with referral sources and educating the medical community about services. They serve as the primary contact for home health and hospice referral sources, conducting sales calls, providing education, and facilitating community in-services.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referral sources to drive growth
- Manage and document consistent sales activities across multiple contacts
- Understand customer needs to offer tailored solutions and secure ongoing referrals
- Increase awareness of services within the healthcare community
- Act as a liaison among referral sources, patients, families, and agencies
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and CRM software
- Preferred: 2+ years in home health or hospice sales, understanding of coverage issues, proficiency in Microsoft Office, creative marketing abilities, strong communication, and organizational skills, and ability to work independently
