Account Director

About This Role

Leading client relationships and overseeing program delivery are the core responsibilities of this Account Director role, ensuring excellence at every touchpoint. This position requires strategic thinking, operational discipline, and a strong understanding of the healthcare landscape to guide both clients and internal teams. The Account Director helps shape brand direction, ensures smooth execution, and drives opportunities for value and growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support precise project execution while ensuring process alignment and regulatory compliance
• Manage timelines, anticipate barriers, and consistently deliver high-quality work that exceeds expectations
• Oversee and guide project budgets, forecasts, and scopes in partnership with project management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver launch and in-market programs
• Contribute strategic insights that inform account plans and elevate client outcomes

Requirements

• 6+ years of client services experience in the advertising industry
• 2+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare advertising experience
• Experience managing $2–3M in business across brands or portfolios
• Strong experience building relationships at the Product Manager and Associate Director level
• Proven ability to lead client meetings, coordinate briefs, and communicate feedback clearly
• Full understanding of pharma/healthcare marketing communications and regulatory considerations
• University degree required
