With the goal of strengthening business skills, providing collaborative networks, and facilitating access to resources to consolidate women's businesses worldwide, the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs (AWE) is now accepting applications. This initiative, led by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), aims to empower women by strengthening their business knowledge, building collaborative networks, and facilitating the access they need to consolidate their ventures.
Those who enter the program will have access to the DreamBuilder platform, an easily accessible space where they will find complementary activities such as conferences and webinars. They will also be able to network with business experts from the United States and alumni, allowing them to exchange ideas that will contribute to their growth within the business ecosystem.
AWE Program Registration Requirements
- Be Colombian or Venezuelan women, residents in the country (with a permit to remain and work).
- Reach the age of majority (18 years).
- Have a business that is currently operating.
- Have an interest in contributing to a positive learning environment.
- Take responsibility for attending AWE sessions.
- Commit to sharing your knowledge with other women entrepreneurs upon completion of the program.
