ECU Health Physicians and East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine, Department of Cardiovascular Sciences, are seeking a BC /BE Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologistto join an established advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support program located in Greenville, North Carolina. Applicants should be advanced heart failure fellowship trained and ABIM certified in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology.
The Clinical sections represented in The Department of Cardiovascular Sciences include Structural Heart Disease, Electrophysiology and Arrhythmias, Heart Failure, Primary and Secondary Prevention and Vascular Diseases.
The East Carolina Heart Institute at ECU Health Medical Center is eastern North Carolina’s premier facility for cardiovascular services. The six-story, 375,000-square-foot tower houses 4 electrophysiology labs, 6 catheterization labs, state of the art imaging and diagnostic equipment, 6 cardiovascular operating rooms, and 1 hybrid operating room. It features 120 beds for patients undergoing pr o cedures for cardiac medicine, cardiac surgery, and vascular surgery.

The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University
The Brody School of Medicine has trained physicians for more than 50 years as the only allopathic medical school in North Carolina’s Atlantic Coastal Plain. The school’s mission is to increase the supply of primary care physicians to meet the state’s medical needs, especially in the east.
