About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Therapist/Behavior Technician to work with an 8-year-old male client in South Plainfield, NJ (07080).
Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM
- Friday: 3:30 PM – 6:00 PM
- Total Hours: ~10 hours per week
Client Details:
- 8-year-old male
- Nonverbal; communicates through gestures, pointing, leading, and behaviors
- Goals include communication development and potty training
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in the home setting
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA
- Support communication skill development
- Assist with daily living skills, including potty training
- Collect session data and collaborate with the clinical team
Requirements:
- Experience working with children preferred (ABA experience a plus)
- Reliable transportation
- Availability during scheduled hours
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
