Job Overview:
As a 7-Eleven cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and accurate cash handling. You will operate a cash register, provide customers with product information, and maintain a clean and organized store environment. You will also be responsible for stocking shelves, monitoring inventory levels, and assisting with other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide product information and assist customers with their purchases
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including restocking shelves and ordering products as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including cleaning the register area, shelves, and merchandise displays
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols
- Handle cash and other payment methods in a responsible and accurate manner
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the store manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience at 7-Eleven preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and other payment methods accurately
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
