About the role
Through direct service, members help increase access to 4-H enrichment opportunities, STEM education, career exploration, and other evidence-based youth development programs in communities where these resources are limited or not currently available. Members collaborate with local schools, community organizations, volunteers, and Extension professionals to strengthen youth outcomes and build local capacity for sustainable programming. This position provides a meaningful opportunity to serve Alabama communities while gaining professional experience in education, youth development, and public service.
Member Duties : Provides direct service by delivering 4-H programming in school-day and after-school settings. Programming areas may include STEM, agriculture, environmental education, healthy living, civic engagement, leadership development, and workforce readiness.
