3D Artist

About This Role

This role is for a 3D artist responsible for creating 3D visualizations and animations for products, as well as environment designs for application imagery. The artist will enhance all visual content through post-production using Photoshop, After Effects, or Premiere, depending on the project. The ideal candidate is a creative, responsible, dedicated, and career-minded professional who will work closely with the marketing team.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a diverse range of tasks, involving different people and activities, whilst prioritizing own work and achieving fixed deadlines
• Add textures and materials to models to increase realism
• Animate objects and products to convey movement and emotion, including preparing models with a digital skeleton (rigging) for easier manipulation
• Set up digital lighting and camera angles to establish the scene's mood for application level
• Produce high-quality rendered images or sequences for final output
• Review assets for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before posting
• Be flexible to meet the needs of the practice and its work
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to 3D assets, software, and the production pipeline
• Demonstrate a keen eye for detail, composition, and visual narrative
• Possess and communicate strong technical knowledge on the production of images and videos

Requirements

• At least 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in a creative environment
• A portfolio of high-quality graphical work produced in a professional environment
• Experience within an edge of ad film making could be an advantage, but not essential
• Experience of photography, illustration, or hand drawing is beneficial to the role
• Ability to work collaboratively across creative and technical teams
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Regularly use and stay updated on industry-standard software such as Blender, 3ds Max, Keyshot, and Substance Painter
• Graduate / Post Graduate (any degree)
