This 3D Artist role focuses on implementing customer projects from the initial 3D asset to the final configurator, creating and optimizing 3D models for real-time and web applications. It suits a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of 3D scenes and configurator UI design, who is eager to shape workflows and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Independently implement customer projects, from 3D assets to the finished configurator
- Create and optimize 3D models for real-time and web applications in Blender (modeling, UVs, baking, PBR texturing)
- Build and structure 3D scenes in VertexGo
- Design the configurator UI in VertexGo
- Actively shape workflows, asset standards, and best practices for projects
Requirements
- Good German language skills, both written and spoken
- Experience as a 3D Artist (seniority open)
- Proficient Blender skills, including a clean PBR workflow, are mandatory
- Understanding of performance requirements in real-time and web contexts
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
- Good eye for detail, composition, and visual quality
Nice to have:
- Geometry Nodes
- Experience with product visualization or configurators
- Experience with real-time engines (Unreal, Unity, three.js)
