Salary & Benefits
- Technician: $3,000 - $7,000 (Based on Experience and Qualifications)
- Fixed Allowance: $350/month
- AWS
- 2 - 2.5 months VB
- 14 to 18 AL
- Contract: 1-year contract (renewable and convertable)
- Additional Perks: Company shuttle bus provided from MRT
Working Hours/ Shifts:
- Working hours: 12 Hours shift, 44 hours per week including weekends and PH
*must be okay to work overnight shifts on some days, scheduled by manager
- Rest Day: 5 rest days within one 15-day shift cycle
Job Responsibilities:
- Support design, construction, and commissioning of waste management facilities with consultants and stakeholders
- Participate in testing, commissioning, and factory acceptance tests (local & overseas)
- Lead and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient plant operations
- Implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical, control, and mechanical systems
- Manage contractors, enforce safety standards, and oversee permit-to-work processes
- Support development of SOPs, safety procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform shift duties when required
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Nitec/ Diploma in any Engineering course.
- Diploma holders, preferably with 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Nitec holders, preferably with 6 – 8 years of relevant working experience.
- Certifications: Preference for candidates with professional certifications such as Licensed Electrical Worker, Boiler Attendant Certificate, or Workplace Safety Health Officer.
- Strong technical background with excellent analytical skills; knowledge of solid waste management is an advantage.
