Major Responsibilities:
- Instruction and supervision of students
- Knowledgeable in classroom management
- Be a role model for students
- Write the outcomes of courses taught
- Attend conferences and workshops to keep current
- Focuses on finding solutions, is proactive, and has a growth mindset
- This position requires regular and reliable in-person attendance
Other Responsibilities:
- Help monitor hallways and school grounds
- Be involved in after-school and extracurricular activities
- Keep accurate classroom records
- Work as a team member
- Has experience, or the desire, to implement ‘The Leader In Me’ ideals into our schools
Teaching Qualifications:
- K-5 Michigan certification and endorsements for appropriate grade levels are required. Must meet all of the NCLB qualifications
