About This Role
This role is for an experienced and creative 2D Digital Artist and Pixel Artist who can produce high-quality original artwork using drawing tablets and professional digital art software. The position involves creating hand-drawn illustrations and pixel art from scratch, working as part of a professional production team.
Responsibilities
- Create professional hand-drawn 2D illustrations and digital artwork
- Design original characters, character reference sheets, and concept art
- Develop detailed pixel art, pixel characters, sprites, and game assets
- Produce clean sketches, line art, coloring, and professional shading
- Create artwork in different styles according to client requirements
- Handle client revisions while maintaining consistent quality
- Collaborate with the production team and meet project deadlines
Requirements
- 2–3 years of professional experience in digital illustration or pixel art
- Strong hand-drawing skills and artistic fundamentals
- Experience using Wacom tablets or equivalent drawing devices for digital illustration
- Proficiency in relevant software:
- Clip Studio Paint (CSP)
- ibisPaint
- Aseprite
- Adobe Photoshop
- Strong understanding of anatomy, composition, perspective, lighting, and color theory for illustration roles
- Strong understanding of pixel art techniques, sprite design, and pixel-level detailing for pixel art roles
- Ability to create original artwork independently
- A professional portfolio showcasing previous work is mandatory
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- All artwork must be original and manually created; AI-generated artwork is strictly prohibited
