What We Are Looking For The BOLT (Building Opportunities & Learning Together) Intern Program is Kinder Morgan’s elite summer internship program. Do you want to spend your summer gaining hands-on experience in the energy industry while enhancing your professional and interpersonal skills? What You Will Do While in the Procurement department, this position will offer the following experience:
- Shadow Fleet team members to gain practical insight into fleet operations and management.
- Learn how fleet management supports Kinder Morgan's operations and contributes to overall business performance.
- Analyze key fleet metrics and KPIs related to safety, utilization, maintenance, and operating costs.
- Work with Fleet personnel to interpret data and identify opportunities to improve fleet safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Assist with day-to-day fleet management activities and support ongoing operational initiatives.
- Gain exposure to fleet systems, reporting tools, and business processes.
- Participate in projects focused on operational improvement, compliance, and asset performance.
What You Need
- Information Systems, Data Analytics, or Supply Chain student Intermediate level.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Excel pivot tables and data analysis is valuable in this role.
