Our history began over 160 years ago with an inn in Neu Wulmstorf near Hamburg. Because our guests were enthusiastic about our in-house salad dressing, we began bottling our famous Sylter Salatfrische and offering it in retail about 20 years ago. Today, we are a staple in food retail for high-quality salad dressings and desserts. What's special is that our high gastronomic standards have remained even with the move into retail. That's why we use only high-quality ingredients, consistently avoid artificial preservatives, and preserve valuable nutrients and the authentic taste of our products through our gentle cold production process. High-quality food and respectful treatment of people, animals, and the environment go hand in hand in our family business. We put a lot of work and love into this passion project. To meet our claim of the highest quality, production and the farm are entirely in our hands. This is how we close the circle within our own company: transparent milk sourcing thanks to our own cows, short local production paths, and the conscious use of glass instead of plastic packaging ensure not only the best taste but also open up new perspectives.
