Zdravotní klaun is a non-profit organization with national and international scope, bringing humor and joy to hospitalized children, geriatric patients, and others in need in the healthcare sector, thereby contributing to the improvement of their mental and thus overall health, through specially trained Health Clowns and special projects. Currently, 94 Health Clowns regularly visit 66 hospitals, 11 facilities for seniors, and 1 hospice. Zdravotní klaun is a widely recognized organization for its expertise in the field of using humor in healthcare. Through its activities since 2001, Zdravotní klaun has built a stable position, a good reputation, and a very likeable image, which is supported by the general public. Zdravotní klaun is a partner of RED NOSES International and the European Federation of Hospital Clowning Organizations.
