About ZAKB Service GmbH

Active for a clean Bergstraße district! As a municipal waste disposal company, the Bergstraße District Waste Management Association collects, recycles, and disposes of all waste from private households in the Bergstraße district. Together with its subsidiary, ZAKB Energie und Dienstleistungs GmbH, it employs around 230 employees and operates numerous facilities at several locations in the region – from a waste management center and recycling centers to collection points and an energy park. By utilizing solar energy, biomass, and landfill gas, the ZAKB annually supplies several hundred households with heat and electricity from renewable energies. In this way, the association makes a significant contribution to the energy transition in the Bergstraße district.
