Zaantheater

About Zaantheater

The Zaantheater is the stage for the Zaan region and its surroundings, offering a large, diverse program. From cabaret to opera, from dance to musical, from concerts to plays, from international shows to children's performances: there is something for everyone to experience in the beautiful, modern building on the Zaan. There are premieres of major national productions, but also projects for specific target groups such as the Children's Book Week Festival and the Toddler Festival. There is a Tuesday Afternoon Series for those who prefer to go out during the day, a 'Together Out' Salon for those who prefer not to go out alone, many activities for children and young people, and there is space for amateur groups. The Zaantheater is a unique location on the Zaan for your event. With our passion and expertise, we turn your corporate party, conference, meeting, or reception into a true happening.
