At YWCA Lancaster, we’ve been leading change in our community since 1889. As part of the oldest and largest multicultural women’s organization in the world, we are driven by a bold mission: eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. Every day, people come to YWCA Lancaster seeking support, opportunity, and connection. From early childhood education and before- and after-school programs, to counseling and advocacy for survivors of sexual assault, to housing, racial equity training, and leadership development, we provide resources that uplift individuals and strengthen our community. We are proud to stand on a history of social justice leadership, from suffrage to civil rights to today’s movements for equity, and we continue to push for lasting change.
