Welcome. May we introduce ourselves?! We are the Wuppertaler Stadtwerke GmbH - also known as WSW. Since our founding in 1948, the Wuppertaler Stadtwerke (WSW) have been active in many areas: reliable energy supply, innovative energy services, clean drinking water, future-oriented mobility, environmentally sound urban drainage, and social and ecological commitment. The WSW Group, with WSW Wuppertaler Stadtwerke GmbH as the holding company, wholly owns WSW mobil GmbH, owns 66.9 percent of WSW Energie & Wasser AG, and 70.47 percent of AWG Abfallwirtschaftsgesellschaft mbH. The number of employees is currently 3,350. The WSW are among the most important economic companies in Wuppertal. Local responsibility is an essential part of our company philosophy.
