The WhereGroup is one of the largest German software companies for geodata infrastructures – with over 20 years of experience, more than 60 employees, and locations throughout Germany. Areas of Activity We offer all services related to spatial data processing, geoinformation systems, and databases using free software. Starting with consulting, conception, and development, through to the operation of dynamic map applications on the intranet and internet. The spectrum of our solutions ranges from geoportal and map-based data management to highly available applications for the commercial sector and public administration. At the customer's request, we also provide interfaces between proprietary software and open-source software solutions or migrate projects completely. Our training institute, the FOSS Academy, offers practice-oriented training on “GIS with Open Source Software” for individuals and companies.
