WeShare Health is a nonprofit Healthcare Sharing organization founded in 2018 and designed to stand apart as a simple, affordable alternative to traditional health insurance. Built on the historic mutual-aid concept originally utilized by the Amish and Mennonite communities, members contribute monthly to share one another’s eligible medical expenses. As healthcare costs rise, we offer access to fair, stable pricing at 30 to 60 percent less than traditional health insurance. WeShare Health currently supports over 100,000 members and has shared more than $50 million in shared medical expenses to-date. With the nation’s largest Preferred Provider Organization PPO network, WeShare Health members have access to over 1.2 million providers and 68,000 pharmacies, along with discounted memberships to healthy lifestyle organizations like Noom, BetterHelp, and Amwell. Members aren’t restricted by enrollment windows either, empowering them to access the care they need when they need it. Our purpose is clear: people before profit.
