About Wellmet Project

Wellmet is a private, non profit agency operating group homes for psychiatrically disabled adults. We provide food, housing and counseling services, and utilize a live in staff model. There are 12 residents and 4 staff people residing in each home and the house is operated in a cooperative manner, with staff and residents doing chores and preparing dinner. The primary work hours are evenings as residents are out during the day. This is a cooperative living program that provides a great learning opportunity to people, plus allows you to give something back to the community and receive some tangible benefit too! We do ask for a one year commitment. This is a well maintained home in a wonderful Cambridge location.
