Back in 2011, founders Todd and Crystal Herring combined their Military and Law Enforcement experience with a background in Behavioral and Mental Health to create a specialized Emergency Response Secure Transport Program. Alaska was in the middle of a Mental Health Crisis with no reliable way to transport patients across the State between facilities. WEKA went to work and was quickly recognized as the gold standard for In-Custody Transports. WEKA then began rapidly expanding In-Custody Transports for the State of Alaska as well as private customers. To date, we cover approximately 95% of In-Custody Transports for the State of Alaska. From Anchorage to the Bush, or from Juneau to North Pole – our Transport Officers are ready to respond at a moment’s notice. As WEKA continued to grow and evolve, we went to work and began to train – hard. We recruited top-tier instructors that brought with them decades of Military and Law Enforcement Experience. We continued to build our base and expand the business by recruiting the most qualified and experienced candidates we could find. We then jumped, head-first, into the world of Personal Security/Executive Protection – working for high-profile clients and corporations. To date, WEKA has worked with and alongside multiple Government Agencies on both State and Federal Level contracts, protected high-ranking political officials, and secured high-dollar sites and resources. We pride ourselves on our professionalism, our dedication, and our versatility. There is no obstacle we haven’t overcome and we have no intention of slowing down.
