Wan Hai Lines was founded in 1965. At the beginning, Wan Hai's business was mainly on the log transportation among Taiwan, Japan and the Southeast Asia. In 1976, in order to respond to the rapid development of international trade in the Asia Pacific area and the trend of international transportation containerization, Wan Hai has successfully transformed and entered the business of fully-container vessel shipping. Wan Hai has more than 30 years of experiences in shipping, comprehensive hardware and software equipment, and professional services from our staff. This has made Wan Hai the carrier with the most intensive voyages and complete service network in Asia. The Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wan Hai Lines (S) Pte., Ltd. of Singapore was registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission on October 5, 2000. The business is primarily to carry on a general shipping agency business by acting as agent of any person, firm or corporation engaged in any business, enterprise, or undertaking related to or connected with overseas shipping. The Company is registered as a general shipping agency business with the Maritime Industry Authority (or MARINA). Philippines Head office is located at 18F Rufino Pacific Tower Makati CBD. Other branches includes: Cebu at Cebu Holdings Center, Cebu Business Park; Subic at MCOM Bldg., Subic Bay Gateway Park. Davao at MDP Bldg, Km. 9 Bo. Pampanga JP Laurel Ave. Wan Hai Lines Ltd commenced Philippine Service in July 1990. Computerization of WAN HAI Lines Philippines was implemented in August 1997. Wan Hai Lines Philippines subsidiary was formally incorporated in September 2000. Wan Hai Lines (Phils) Inc., officially opened business in Manila Philippines in February 2001. The office relocated to Makati CBD - 11F PBCOM Tower Makati Philippines in January 2006. The office moved to 18F Rufino Pacific Tower Makati City in December 2010. In the future, Wan Hai Lines will continue to emphasize on the service attitude of "Customer First" and customer driven management philosophy.
