As a cooperative bank, we are not focused on profit maximization, but primarily serve the interests of our members. At the end of 2022, 110,495 people were members and thus co-owners with us. With a balance sheet total of 5.7 billion euros and more than 185,000 customers, we are one of the largest Volksbanks in the region. At 46 branches (plus 23 self-service locations), we advise our members and customers personally, fairly and transparently. Promoting sustainable projects in diverse social, cultural, and community areas is part of our cooperative bank's brand core. In 2022, we allocated more than 380,000 euros in donations and sponsorship funds to clubs, schools, and non-profit institutions in the region. We want to reward the tireless voluntary commitment of local people and create even more opportunities for young talent. Our employees are our most valuable resource. That is why we are consistently working to make our Volksbank even more attractive as an employer.
