About Volksbank Jade-Weser

The Volksbank Jade-Weser eG was formed in 2025 through the merger of strong cooperative banks in the region. This merger created a modern, efficient financial institution that is now one of the most important economic drivers in the Jade-Weser region. Our goal is to continue the successful development of our predecessor banks and carry the new strength of our joint Volksbank forward for members and customers. The core of our corporate philosophy is: "We want to secure and continuously expand the performance of our bank in the long term – always while preserving our cooperative values. People are at the center of our actions: our members, our customers, and our employees." As one of the largest cooperative banks in the Weser-Ems district, we bear a significant responsibility for the region. With more than 430 employees, we are a strong employer in Friesland and a reliable taxpayer. The fact that a large part of the population in our business area is a customer of Volksbank Jade-Weser eG – and more than a third of them are even members and thus co-owners of our bank – impressively underscores our regional roots and importance.
