About VOA Illinois

Founded in 1896, Volunteers of America of Illinois is one of the oldest affiliates within the Volunteers of America family. For more than a century Volunteers of America of Illinois has been working to improve the quality of life for people most in need throughout Illinois with a variety of services and programs designed to strengthen families, keep children safe and empower individuals to transform their lives. VOA Illinois serves Veterans who are struggling, in crisis or at-risk of serious instability in their lives, youth and families experiencing poverty, and provides affordable housing to the elderly and adults with disabilities. Each of our programs are strength-based, client-centered, relationship-driven, family-focused, and designed to help people achieve their full potential.
