About VERBUND Green Power Iberia

VERBUND Green Power Iberia is the Spanish subsidiary of the VERBUND group, a leading company in the energy sector in Austria and one of the largest producers of renewable energy in Europe. Currently, 98% of the energy generated by the VERBUND group comes from renewable and environmentally friendly sources. Verbund aims to cover 25% of its total generation with terrestrial photovoltaic and wind energy by 2030. Since entering the Spanish market in 2021, VERBUND has consolidated its position in the Iberian Peninsula as an electricity generation company. The company currently has 710 MW of renewable energy capacity in operation (300 MW photovoltaic and 410 MW wind), 40 MW under construction, and a broad portfolio of projects in advanced stages of development.
