Vegalsa-Eroski, a leading commercial distribution company in Galicia, is 50% owned by the Ventura González family and Eroski. The company's origins date back to the 1940s when the founder and honorary president established his first food business in Vigo. Vegalsa-Eroski, with over 4,300 employees, is the sixth largest company in Galicia by turnover and employment.
