About Varbergs kommun

In Varberg, we can consider ourselves fortunate because the sea, nature, and our attractive location in a growing labor market region mean that people are lining up to move here. As our population grows, so does the tax base, allowing us to continue developing essential public services that the municipality is responsible for: healthcare, education, care, urban planning, and culture and leisure, among others. As we grow, diversity also increases. When people from different backgrounds meet, creativity and innovation are fostered, creating conditions for development in business, community activities, and cultural life. With an open and inclusive climate, we help each other move towards our vision – the West Coast's creative center.
