Van Werven is a specialized service provider in the field of infrastructure and recycling. Van Werven has been searching for logical connections, real solutions, and acting genuinely and authentically for almost 70 years. We focus on local and supra-regional projects in the areas of earthworks, road and water construction, forestry, residential and utility construction, waste collection and recycling, transport, biomass, and plastic recycling. With these activities, we serve individuals, SMEs, governments, infrastructure and construction contractors, and industrial companies in the field of energy and plastic production. With locations in Oldebroek, Biddinghuizen, Hattemerbroek, Balkbrug, Almere, Harderwijk, Ouderkerk aan de Amstel, Antwerp (BE), and Selby (UK), customers are served from twelve branches, primarily in Flevoland, Gelderland, Overijssel, North Holland, Utrecht, and 't Gooi. Van Werven employs 300 people. During the national final of the European Business Awards 2012, the plastics division was chosen as the winner in the innovation category. 15,000 companies competed for the main prize in 27 European countries. In 2013, we received the Linnaeus Prize, naming us the best enterprise in the Noord-West Veluwe and Flevoland.
