Valayo was founded in 2024 to provide specialist actuarial recruitment with focus, integrity and long-term thinking. The business was built on the belief that recruitment should be approached as a professional service - not a transactional process. From the beginning, we prioritised building genuine relationships with clients and candidates, earning trust through honest advice, market insight and a commitment to quality over volume. Over the past decade, the consultants at Valayo have partnered with businesses across the UK, Europe and Bermuda, supporting hiring strategies for actuarial teams at every level. We have worked with Lloyd's syndicates, global (re)insurers, consultancies, MGAs, ILS platforms, insurtechs and regulators. Our approach is research-led and relationship-driven.
