About Värmdö kommun

Värmdö is part of the Stockholm archipelago, a unique nature with over 10,000 islands. Here, land meets sea, just 20 minutes from Stockholm. In our historic main town, Gustavsberg, there is a long tradition of design and form that lives on through a continued investment in art and culture. The municipality has just under 40,000 inhabitants, of which just over 10,000 live in Gustavsberg. We have a very young population where every fourth inhabitant is under 15 years old. Värmdö is also one of the fastest-growing municipalities in the country. This dynamic is also reflected in the employer Värmdö municipality. We offer you great opportunities and interesting challenges.
