Université de Nantes

About Université de Nantes

Nantes Université offers a unique university model in France that unites the strengths of higher education, research, and innovation players in the Nantes region: University of Nantes, Centrale Nantes, CHU de Nantes, Inserm, École des Beaux-arts Nantes Saint-Nazaire, École d’Architecture de Nantes, and IRT Jules Verne. These players focus their strengths to develop Nantes' research excellence, particularly in envisioning and building the health and industry of the future. They offer new training opportunities for students by breaking down silos in ways of thinking, cultures, and practices. Nantes Université also defines itself as a sustainable, engaged institution that is an active participant in societal change. It promotes a comprehensive and original policy for open science, open education, and open innovation.
