The Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH) is an academic and autonomous institution, with democratic governance, non-profit, derived from and serving the social community. It is comprised of professors, students, and graduates, united in the task of researching, teaching, and learning, preferably in relation to Peruvian reality. In this sense, UPCH participates with a critical attitude in: The national effort aimed at the integral promotion of man, the promotion and conservation of culture, and the development of the country. Conserving and increasing universal knowledge and culture to transmit them to the individual and the community. Conducting and promoting research in humanities, sciences, and technology, and fostering intellectual and artistic creation. Training humanists, scientists, professionals, and technicians of high academic level and professional competence, endowed with an inquisitive and creative mindset and a critical attitude towards the institution and national reality, committed to serving society, thus contributing to the scientific and technological advancement required for the country's development. Contributing to the full realization of man and the integral development of society, directing institutional work towards the person and society; in the national effort aimed at the development of Peru.
