United Way Mumbai

About United Way Mumbai

For 24 years, United Way Mumbai has turned philanthropic intent into verified, lasting change — across causes, communities, and geographies throughout India. We work where the need is: directly through our own implementing teams, through 500+ vetted NGO partners, and in genuine partnership with government at every level — convening the right combination of expertise around every challenge. We design programmes grounded in evidence, deliver to an uncompromising standard, and measure what actually changes. Not just activity — but outcomes. And we do this across education, health, financial security, climate action, and community resiliency, often within a single mandate. 300+ companies, including some of India's most respected names, trust us with their most complex and demanding philanthropic work. That trust has been earned over two decades — and renewed, year after year. Part of the United Way global network, active in 36 countries and reaching 48 million people every year, we hold ourselves to an international standard of practice — brought to bear on India's most pressing community challenges. United Way Mumbai — Social Impact. Done Right.
