About United Veterans Beacon House, Inc.

United Veterans Beacon House is a non-profit organization founded in 1994 by a group of philanthropic veterans. Today Beacon House manages and supports 58 housing locations across Long Island, providing a haven to more than 600 veteran residents each year, offering essential services to assist every veteran in the journey toward fruitful independence. On any given day, both residents and non-resident veterans from the tri-state area benefit from programs that address homelessness, post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, mental health issues, and addiction. Non-veterans, too, have access to housing, drug/alcohol addiction services, and job skill/readiness development programs.
