About Unisinos

A university with over 50 years of history, Unisinos is one of the largest private institutions in Brazil, with over 90,000 graduates and approximately 25,000 students enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in On-Campus, Hybrid, and Distance Learning (EAD) modalities. Strengthened in its Science, Technology, and Innovation (CT&I) ecosystem, the Institution explores the frontiers of technoscience to build the society of tomorrow. With 26 Postgraduate Programs, Unisinos maintains and develops strategic partnerships with companies and universities in Brazil and around the world. There are about 160 partnerships with over 30 countries, which strengthen research and enable scientific exchange for students and researchers. Unisinos believes its commitment is to promote the formation of the human person for an integral and supportive life, in a plural and democratic society, capable of finding in equity and freedom the meaning of an ethos where technoscience and humanities are articulated. In addition to the campuses in São Leopoldo and Porto Alegre, Unisinos is present in seven states of the country, with campuses in São Leopoldo and Porto Alegre, as well as EAD centers in Rio Grande do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Paraná, and Piauí. The university is maintained by the Associação Antônio Vieira (ASAV), which manages 21 units in Brazil. These are educational institutions and social assistance entities, including the Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (São Leopoldo and Porto Alegre/RS). ASAV also provides assistance to projects in the states of Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, Mato Grosso, Rondônia, Amazonas, and Pará.
