Kansas City, Kansas is the third largest city in the state of Kansas and is the county seat of Wyandotte County. It is part of a unique consolidated city-county government known as the Unified Government (UG). We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. The city is situated at Kaw Point, which is the junction of the Missouri and Kansas rivers. All positions require that the applicant be a resident of Wyandotte County or willing to relocate within 12 months from the date of hire. As a condition of employment all employees must pass a post offer physical examination and drug screen. Public law requires all new appointees to submit proof of identity and employment eligibility.
