Unicotras was founded in 2010 from the union of decades of experience in the distribution and logistics world. In just a few years, the company has managed to conquer significant market shares, collaborating with the main global players in the Express and Logistics sector. Unicotras srl, based in Bari, operates throughout the national territory as one of the leading companies in express courier distribution and warehouse logistics, with regular authorization for third-party transport. Since 2011, Unicotras srl has collaborated with Dhl Express, with a regular distribution and handling contract, and professionally manages the warehouses in Bari, Rome Maggiolino, Rome di Salone, and Rome Monterotondo, in addition to the daily "linehaul" routes connecting the main national cities. In 2018, Unicotras srl, with great dedication, collaborates with the main operators in the sector and with similar international institutions. Currently, Unicotras is composed of over 600 employees, including city couriers and warehouse workers. All personnel are employed under a Transport and Logistics labor contract, in compliance with current regulations on workplace safety, and with the payment of social security and insurance contributions. The average growth rate since 2014 is 66.21%, with a 149% increase in turnover in 2017 compared to the previous year, consolidating a turnover in subsequent years of over 12 million. The number of vehicles in circulation is approximately 450 units, including owned and leased vehicles during peak shipping volumes. All are equipped with gate-locks and special cargo bay linings. Furthermore, the "shuttle" vehicles are equipped with special satellite anti-theft systems, directly connected to the security operations center and our "control room" for remote monitoring. In order to increase confidence in the services provided to our valued customers and to consolidate business relationships in business-to-business interactions, Unicotras srl has adopted a certified management system, ISO 9001:2015, continuously providing services and processes in compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
